CPAD Alhambra Headquater - Celebration of 2012 Year End Party
12/10/2011 Saturday morning, Tzu Chi Chinese Academy and CPAD joint together held the annual Year End Party. The Flower Arrangement Class' parents gathered at the venue around 8 am, under the guidance of the teacher - Miss Linda Lo, they used fresh flowers to make 9 center piece decorations, as the raffle drawing prize for parents who purchased the raffle tickets to raise some funding for CPAD ....

CPAD Orange County Chapter parents, Frank and Sansan Tsai were recognized by California State Senator, Lou Correa, for their significant contributions to the Chinese community of families with special needs children, and presented them with “2011 Families Making a Difference” Award ....

After a long waiting, 2011 Kiwanis Club Monterey Park and Chinese Parents Association for the Disabled “Environmental Awareness” Painting Contest winners are announced:

CPAD - Orange County Chapter - Living Arrangement for Adult Children
10/15/2011 CPAD Orange Chapter meeting – Joyce Hearn of Orange County Adult Achievement Center (OCAAC) gave OC parents a talk in Family Connections. Family Connections has assisted Regional Center consumers in locating their own new “special family” – a real home where they can be included in all aspects of everyday family life.

CPAD was pleased to provide our members a wide variety of Saturday programs this year. Remember having fun at the Youth singing club, Dragon Boat competition, winter ski, water ski, Chess tournament, basketball shooting contest, drawing contest, and other events? Parents are invited to meet at 1:00 pm .....
