8/7/2016 CPAD Field Trip
Another Memorable Annual Field Trip Amongst Natural Beauty

During the annual field trip that CPAD partakes in each year, the numerous families travelled together to Lake Arrowhead. Prior to reaching that destination, everyone visited a very special McDonald’s museum dedicated to the legacy of the famous fast food establishment. The owner of the museum allowed unlimited photography of the memorabilia. There were also flyers that described the history of McDonald’s as well as a special look at the upcoming biopic entitled The Founder, starring Michael Keaton as Ray Croc. On that same day, many of the vacationers enjoyed a relaxing boat ride on the actual lake. Some of the children who are part of CPAD had the special opportunity of holding the steering wheel of the boat while Captain Nick offered historical insight into the majesty and grandeur of Lake Arrowhead. The boat ride featured a breathtaking view of calm water as well as a special look at a house that Michelle Kwan had once occupied.  Alex Phuong had the special opportunity of singing the title song from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast to everyone on the cruise. (More)
