CPAD Community Involvement - “Pine Bamboo Plum” Scholarship Awards Ceremony
12/17/2011 Southern California Beijing University Alumni association Vice-chairman Mr. Jie Rong through the network and via the introduction to get to know Chinese Parents Association of the Disabled (CPAD). Inspired by the spirit of our services, so in its first “Pine (Beijing University) Bamboo (Qinghua) Plum (Jiaotong University)” Scholarship Awards Ceremony, they invited rainbow dancers to perform, and all the raised new toys during the event were donated to CPAD's children. They would like to use this event, promote the next generation to the Chinese culture cognition, and with integrate into the community, and care for the vulnerable groups.
CPAD Orange County Chapter - Say Goodbye to 2011 Party
December 17 was the day that we said goodbye to 2011 and welcomed the 2012 Dragon year. Parents brought in the delicious food and volunteers set up tables and served food for all attendees. program began on time with everyone enjoying the meal and sharing his/her experiences. The entire room was filled with joy and each of us could sense Christmas' approaching. The volunteers sang many beautiful Christmas songs along with our disabled children. Santa Claus came to town, then passed out gifts to each family. The event ended on a wonderful note.
