CPAD Orange County Chapter: Member workshop
CPAD OC Chapter 5/4/13, Art Workshop Opening - Parents! You are all welcome to bring your child to a free art workshop once a month at OCAAC, 225 W. Carl Karcher Way, Anaheim, CA 92801.
The class will be taught by Ms. Josephine Ren, who has been a continuous volunteer with CPAD for the past year and who some of you may even recognize! Art therapy can be a safe, effective, hands-on way for children with autism to express their emotions and thoughts.
It also helps them develop their creativity, a sense of pride in their work, patience, intelligence, and motor skills. Art can also be a lot of fun! It is highly encouraged that children come with their parents to work together and create various fun, simple, wonderful crafts and art pieces, and play with hands-in creations.
