Mr. Ken Eng, Advisory Engineer, home educator, advocate, shares his experience how to guide / train his son to complete 4th year at Cal Poly Pomona. His talk covered areas: Fundation, Junior High/High School study strategy & prep for Higher Education, University Accommodations/Assistance/Experience.  

•Linguistic, Learn to Read, Read to Learn / Reading Comprehension
•Physical exercises to build up focus / concentration
•Language Arts / Math / Science reinforcement at home
•Special Education Rights / Responsibilities Knowledge, Compliance, Complaint
•IEP Planning / Follow Up / Bench Mark monitoring

CPAD Orange County Chapter - Parent Support Workshop

Special Planning for Special People; A conversation about Special Needs Trusts

Speaker William Brodak, Atterney at Law, will discuss basic questions including guardian or conservator issues, things to consider before setting up an SNT, the impact on public benefits, the types of SNTs.  If time permits, he’ll also discuss the taxation and reporting of SNTs.
