CPAD - LA Headquarter - AYC Anniversary Celebration Dinner/SAGE Picnic

Chinese SAGE Family Orientation Picnic -- On Saturday, August 17, 2019, several CPAD and Chinese SAGE members hosted a picnic at Smith Park in San Gabriel.  The picnic was a social gathering intended to introduce youth and adults how to advocate and stand up for themselves.  Both current and former members shared their experiences with self-advocacy to people who either might or might not be familiar with “self-advocacy” as a concept.  For those who are unfamiliar, it is about asserting one’s own personal thoughts in a non-confrontational manner.  This family orientation was definitely family-oriented because it had a welcoming environment filled with great food and thoughtful people.  People yearning to stand up for what they believe in will definitely be welcomed within Chinese SAGE (Self-Advocacy Group Empowered)!

10/25/2019 - AYC 30th Anniversary Celebration Dinner -- On Friday October 25, 2019, Asian Youth Center held its annual Gala in the ballroom of Hilton Hotel in San Gabriel.  Five CPAD members attended this Gala, they are taking a break and having fun after their tireless work on CPAD 30th Anniversary on September 26, 2019.
