On 2/16/2019, Saturday at AYC, Fiesta and CPAD had a joint advocates meeting and Julie EbMckinzey from State Council for the viewing of "Bottom Dollars" video, a document on Employment for Person with Developmental Disabilities... 7 CPAD SAGE members and 8 Fiesta parent/self advocates particiapted. The 2019 conference held on March 8-9 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in Anaheim, California. The theme of this conference, "Transitions" emphasizes transition from school to college, from child to independent living.... CPAD parents, Li Lee and Vanda Yung, both were presenters in the Panels. CPAD Orange County Chapter

A potluck and fun event held on 3/16/2019, Saturday, more than 20 families got together to sample the results of each other's culinary talent. Parents chatted, exchanged ideas, encouraged each other. Most encouraging were the delicious desserts baked by two of our children. Hence it has been decided that they will be providing the desserts for our future meetings! What a wonderful get-together.
