CPAD Saturday Program (June 2014)

Dear All,

We will meet for the last time this Saturday for the Spring session’s classes, and we plan to have a small party to celebrate our accomplishments.  Due to this special event, our schedule for this Saturday will be revised slightly: 

1:00 pm-1:45pm  Youth(age 8-13)- Interaction/Circle time (Ms. May Fu/Ms. Penny Co)
1:00 pm-1:45pm  Young Adult (age13&up)- Signing Song/Talent Show (Tzu Shao)
1:45 pm-2:15pm  All- Volunteers recognition/award party
2:15 pm-3:30pm  Young Adult- Tae Kwon Do (Dr. Jang) 

All classes are sponsored by generous donors; they are free of charge, you are all welcome to join us. Should you miss it, I wish you a great summer!

2014 Long Beach Dragon Boat Race/Festival

Dear Parents and Friends, 

We are excited to announce CPAD is returning to Long Beach Dragon Boat Race/festival. Last year CPAD skipped the event was due to the conflict of schedule of 2013 Chinese Opera Fundraising which happened in the same month.  However, to carry on the Dragon Boat spirit is our late president Rachel’s wishes and do see great benefit to our children.

Date/Time: 6/21/14; 6/28/14; 7/12/14 and 7/19/14, 7:00 – 8:00 am           
                  (No practice on 7/5/14 in observing Independence Day) 
Race Date/Time:  7/26/2014, around 10:00-11:00 am

CPAD Saturday Program (April 2014)

Dear All,

Great news!  Our Association is planning new classes for children.  The classes consist of: painting, social games and music.  Classes will start on April 26, 2014.

Tentatively, the classes will be set on the 4th  Saturday of each month.  More classes may be added as needed.

All the costs of the classes will be absorbed by CPAD.  We look forward to all parents in participating and assisting in the operation of the classes.

We welcome children ages  8 to 13 with special needs to participate.  If you are interested in these classes, please contact Mrs. Lee at 626-321-5266.  You may also reply to this email by providing your child’s name, age, condition and any special needs.

CPAD Alhambra Saturday Program

Dear All,

Happy Chinese New Year! Our Jan-June'14 class dates are: 1/11, 2/8, 3/8, 3/22, 4/12, 4/26, no class in May and the last class will be on 6/7/14. Please mark those date on your calendar. 

On 2/08/14, this Saturday, we will have four classes:From 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Signing Song/(Tzu Shao)

There will be a lion dance performance by Tzu Chi Academic to celebrate Chinese New Year with our students.  

From 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm:      Social/Interact(May Fu)
From 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm:      Karate (Dr. Jang) 
From 3:45 pm - 4:30 pm:      Karaoke (Mr. Abel Lam)
